Sunday 12th October saw another successful Friends of Jesus Green Lido expedition to the Suffolk coast – with 25 people heading to Felixstowe for a morning dip in the sea. After meeting for coffee at the Fludyers Hotel, the group headed for a swim in the surprisingly calm North Sea. The temperature was around 15 degrees – so just a little bit warmer than the pool. After enjoying the water, there was a walk to collect Fish & Chips, which were eaten al fresco – in the glorious autumn sunshine – while keeping guard against seagulls. Thanks to everyone that took the time to travel to Felixstowe to help keep this wonderful Autumn tradition going strong after more than 30 years.
