Cambridge’s favourite amateur synchronised swimming troupe, the Centenary Cygnets, are back this summer with a dazzling trio of performances at Jesus Green Lido. Don’t miss this joyful celebration of community, creativity, and aquatic artistry!
Upcoming performances will be taking place at the pool on the following dates:
– Saturday 16 August at 2:00pm
– Sunday 31 August at 11:30am
– Sunday 14 September at 11:30am – to be followed by a Friends of Jesus Green Lido ‘bring and share’ lunch plus book and postcard / poster sale.
Come and cheer the Cygnets along at these events, which are perfect for all the family; and don’t forget your swimming costumes and towels so you can enjoy a swim either before or after.
Who are the Centenary Cygnets?
A spirited team of amateur synchronised swimmers, the Centenary Cygnets formed to celebrate the Lido’s 100th anniversary – and they’ve been making waves ever since. Expect a playful mix of choreography, and community fun, performed in the iconic open-air pool.
