On Sunday 22nd June, visitors to Jesus Green Lido will have the chance to purchase a series of beautifully designed posters and postcards celebrating the pool’s 100th anniversary – which was marked in 2023.
The striking prints are replicas of some of the commemorative banners that adorned the lido and its surroundings throughout the centenary year, some of which remain today. The designs were created by talented students from Anglia Ruskin University. Each banner captures a unique aspect of the lido’s rich history and community spirit.
Whether you’re a regular swimmer, a local history lover, or simply looking for a unique keepsake, these high-quality, smaller-scale prints are a perfect way to take home a piece of this much-loved Cambridge landmark. Look out for Caroline Lewis, who will be poolside from 8am to 12pm.
Postcards will be available to purchase for £4 while posters will be £10. After the sale, copies will be available to purchase at the office / kiosk.
