HELP US IMPROVE JESUS GREEN LIDO
The Friends of Jesus Green Lido is a community charity dedicated to supporting and protecting one of Cambridge’s most loved outdoor spaces, ensuring it remains a place for everyone to enjoy.
Whether through fundraising; volunteering time and skills; organising events at the pool; or becoming a Friend, there are many ways that regular swimmers and Cambridge residents can get involved as we work to help sustain the lido’s future and strengthen the vibrant community around it.
Every contribution, big or small, will help us continue improving facilities, supporting inclusive activities, and ensuring the lido remains a welcoming place for generations to come.

The charity’s fundraising efforts are starting with a project that is both practical and transformative – fundraising for a new community sauna.
Research increasingly highlights the powerful health and social benefits of using saunas, either alone or in combination with cold water immersion.
VOLUNTEER
We welcome the help and support of anyone who wants to get more involved with life at the Lido! Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer for the Friends; join the Committee; or become more involved with our charity as we continue to grow our fundraising capabilities and deliver on our charitable aims.
Whether you can spare a few hours occasionally or would like to take on a more regular role, there are plenty of ways to contribute. From helping at events and supporting community activities, to assisting with fundraising, communications, or behind-the-scenes organisation, every contribution makes a real difference.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, build skills, and play an active part in supporting a much-loved local space. We’re always keen to hear from individuals with fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a shared passion for the Lido.

You are warmly invited to become a Friend of Jesus Green Lido. It’s free and there are no commitments on your wallet or time – unless you want to donate to the charity or become a volunteer.
All you need to do is sign up for updates from the charity. It’s a great way of keeping up to date with what’s on at the Lido and finding out more about how you can get involved with our work and our volunteer committee.
